The BARMM Government, under the leadership of Interim Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, demonstrated its dedication to assisting grassroots communities and bringing government services closer to the people through a significant convergence event in Jolo, Sulu. The event saw participation from various Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (MOA), with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) led by Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, with its executives and staff, actively distributed hygiene kits, food, and other essential supplies to support the residents. The event was held at the MPW Open Ground, MPW-BARMM, Ist District Engineering Office, Jolo, Sulu.
The initiative, known as Project TABANG (Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan), was specifically designed to address the urgent needs of the Bangsamoro communities. This humanitarian project focuses on delivering immediate relief to those in poverty and those affected by calamities and conflicts. By providing direct services to those most in need, Project TABANG aims to improve the living conditions of Bangsamoro individuals and families facing hardship.
This convergence and relief effort exemplify Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim’s commitment to effective governance and community welfare. By streamlining regional responses and optimizing relief operations, the initiative not only supports those in immediate need but also reinforces the BARMM Government’s ongoing pledge to foster a more accessible and responsive government for its people.
