Minister Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, led the inauguration of the new Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office (BLTO) Extension Office in Purok II, Barangay Eastern Wao, Municipality of Lanao Del Sur. The event was graced by Deputy Floor Leader Atty. Jose Lorena, Municipality Administrator Ruth Catalan, BLTO Director 1 Razul Gayak, and BLTO Division Chiefs, among others. This significant development marks a new chapter in the accessibility of essential transportation services for residents.
The fully operational BLTO Extension Office is staffed by eight personnel and equipped with a range of ancillary services, including a Private Emission Center, Driving School, Medical Clinic, and Insurance Companies for motor vehicles available at hand. This comprehensive one-stop shop means that residents no longer need to travel to Cotabato City for these services, significantly easing the process of vehicle registration and licensing in the area.
With the establishment of this office, stakeholders are encouraged to register their vehicles, facilitating a higher renewal rate for both public and private licenses. The new facility also caters to those pursuing professional and sub-professional licenses, marking a vital resource for the community.
