MOTC wears Purple to join Women’s Month celebration


Today, March 8, 2022, the officials and employees of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-BARMM, headed by Minister Dickson P. Hermoso, wear different shades of purple to show support in the celebration of this year’s National Women’s Month with a theme “We make CHANGE work or WOMEN.”

In line with the celebration, and to commemorate the day and stand in solidarity, the ministry’s Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point Committee encourages every MOTC’s employee to wear Purple and show support to all the ‘Fatimas” worldwide.

MOTC, along with its seven attached agencies, acknowledge the notable roles of the Bangsamoro women towards serenity, prosperity, and good governance. Thus, wearing with pride the color of justice, dignity and achievement.

As part of the ongoing endeavor of the ministry to promote equality, the 10-point agenda of Minister Hermoso include, among others, ascertain dynamic and ‘inclusive’ stakeholders and employees engagement. With that, MOTC, indeed, makes CHANGE works for WOMEN.
