MOTC Minister tenders Courtesy Resignation
Minister Dickson P. Hermoso of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-BARMM has tendered his courtesy resignation today, Feb 15, 2022, in response to Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim’s order for the subordinate ministers and deputies to file courtesy resignation in preparation for a revamp in the regional government.
In the afternoon today, Minister Hermoso called the MOTC community to inform everyone of his resignation formally. During the briefing, he expressed his gratitude for the hardwork, cooperation and support that every employee has extended during his leadership.
Meanwhile, Minister Hermoso reiterated the numerous changes observed in the ministry for the past three years.
“While we await the CM’s announcement regarding the composition of his cabinet, I ask you to extend your full support to the Director-General who has been directed to carry out the ministerial function,” he said.
He also added that he was offering himself to continue serving as a member of BARMM’s cabinet and expressed his commitment to helping further in building equity, development, and peace in his homeland, the Bangsamoro.
He then wished the ministry the best going forward. Employees present during the briefing were emotional regarding the news and even wish to welcome his coming back very soon together with Deputy Minister Abunawas L. Maslamama.
