The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) convened for a collaborative planning and programming session today, April 18 in Manila City.
MOTC Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, led the discussions alongside key officials from the ministry. Throughout the session, participants explored avenues for collaboration and identified priority projects aimed at modernizing and expanding transportation systems in the region.
During the session, the participants engage in discussions aimed at formulating strategies to enhance transportation infrastructure and connectivity throughout Mindanao, with a specific focus on addressing the needs of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The collaborative efforts between MOTC, MinDA, and DOTr represent a significant move toward actualizing the vision of a modern and efficient transportation network, aligning with the aspirations of BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim.
Following the programming and planning, the MOTC also visited Public Private Partnerships (PPP) Center for another meeting.
