With this year’s theme: Progression, Not Oppression, #Unapologetic Hijabi- the MOTC is in one community celebrating the World Hijab Day in BARMM.
Clothed with Emerald green Hijabs, niqab, burka, or head scarf, the MOTC women acknowledged their significant role and contributions in eradicating oppression and giving peace a chance.
Worn not just as a symbol of modesty and privacy but also of hope, peace, and faith, modern MOTC women strongly believe in their rights and in respecting the rights of others toward a free exercise of religion.
