MOTC joins the 3rd Bangsamoro Foundation Day
The Ministry of Transportation and Communications joined in the Kick-Off Ceremony for a week-long region-celebration of the 3rd Bangsamoro Foundation Day that commenced with the banging of the gong three times ( stands for three years) that signals the official opening on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the ICM Quadrangle, Cotabato City.
With its Theme: Changing People’s Lives, Transforming the Bangsamoro: Celebrating and sustaining the gains of Peace and Moral Governance, the event recognized the period that had passed when the Bangsamoro people voted to ratify the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).
It was three years ago when people shared manifestation to change the course of history and evolving story in the region leading to a transition parliament to envision a roadmap to define peace, solidarity, and economic development reforms and to implement power and authority as an autonomous region in the country.
The event was participated by the Minister Hermoso represented by Deputy Minister Abunawas Maslamama, Director-General Roslaine L. Macao-Maniri, Sector Chiefs, and personnel of different agencies of the ministry.
The minister was thankful for the celebration as it gave credit to review the fight worth a cause to self-determination and to implement governance that threshold reforms to achieving a sense of lasting peace and eventually fulfilling the Bangsamoro aspiration anchored on the principle of moral governance.
