MOTC capacitates mid-level managers on work effectiveness, efficiency
In line with the thrusts of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-BARMM that gear towards enhancing organizational capacity and teamwork of personnel, a Middle Management Development Series (MMDS) for the 1st quarter of the year is conducted to strengthen the management approach of its mid-level leaders on March 22, 2022.
This development series is additional knowledge support to the supervisory development tracks offered by the Civil Service Commission and similar capability-development interventions that are more focused on personal development and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Discussed during the training are Comparative Advantage, Division of Labor, Extent of Market, the Role of Transportation and Communication, and The Five Competitive Forces that Determine Industry Profitability, presented by Mr.Goldelino Chan and Mr. Caloy Manlupig, respectively.
Meanwhile, a plenary workshop follows, and the participants workshop on the role of MOTC in easing entry barriers, promoting industry competition, and vis-à-vis Buyers’ bargaining leverage and price sensitivity.
In his closing message, Minister Dickson P. Hermoso underscores the importance of mid-level leadership to further equip them as future leaders of the ministry. He also asserts that they are the champions who ensure the top management will reach its goal.
The MOTC, together with its seven attached agencies, remain steadfast and committed to upholding a sustainable pipeline of high-quality and skilled human capital to promote and increase efficiency for further growth and development in the Bangsamoro Region.
