Yesterday, April 16, at the Annual Bangsamoro Local Revenue Collection Forum, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) received a Plaque of Recognition for its revenue collection performance for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. MOTC was awarded the second-highest ranking among all the revenue-generating ministries.
Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, attributed the success to the collective efforts of MOTC’s employees and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and efficient revenue management practices in line with the vision of Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim.
Meanwhile, the Bangsamoro Telecommunications Commission (BTC) was also recognized as the second most compliant office to the MFBM-BTO Guidelines and Circulars on Collections and Deposits of Regional Taxes, Fees, and Charges for FY 2023.
