Newly installed MOTC Minister Paisalin Tago met with MINDA Secretary Maria Belen S. Acosta to discuss the continuing cooperation of the two agencies. Also present during the meeting were Drs. Basilio and Lidasan of UPAFF RESPOND, and USAID Representatives, Mr. Jeffrey Goebel, Director of US Agency for International Development, Mr. Eric Reed, Deputy Director, Mr. Jay de Quiros, Economic Growth Specialist, and Maria Teresa S. Robielos, Development Assistance Specialist.
On June 21, 2022, the MOTC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with MINDA to provide assistance in developing a Transportation Logistics Roadmap for the Bangsamoro Region. Technical Assistance and the Capacity Building for the development of the Transportation Logistics Roadmap was provided by UPAFF RESPOND and USAID.
