Multiple batches of pilgrims from the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi gathered at Zamboanga International Airport, commencing their sacred journey to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Amidst the bustling airport atmosphere, a spirit of cooperation and support prevailed, facilitated by the diligent efforts of various provincial and district offices of the transportation ministry.
The scene was an anticipation and reverence as pilgrims prepared to embark on the revered Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage. Behind the scenes, the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi had mobilized their resources, ensuring that the travel process was as smooth and hassle-free as possible for the pilgrims.
In a demonstration of care and preparedness, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, led by Minister Paisalin Tago, CPA, provided essential support to the pilgrims. Each pilgrim received a medical kit and guidebooks from the Bangsamoro Pilgrimage Authority and Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta. These provisions not only offered practical assistance but also served as symbolic gestures of solidarity and encouragement for the spiritual journey ahead.
As the pilgrims boarded their flights, their hearts filled with anticipation and devotion and carried with them the support and blessings of their communities. This journey was not just a physical voyage but a profound spiritual journey, reaffirming the enduring faith and unity of the Bangsamoro people.
