CABB gears up personnel towards digitization thru ICT Training

In its efforts to promote people excellence for efficient and effective delivery of public service, the Civil Aeronautics Board of the Bangsamoro (CABB) of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-BARMM Personnel undertakes 3-day training on Computer Literacy and Frontline Services Seminar on March 23-25, 2022.

This training aims to equip employees with the computer skills necessary to function in a technology-driven society and effectively absorb, maintain, and sustain the responsibilities under a fully devolved setup and respond to the demands of a globalizing clientele.

Hence, CABB focuses on making sure that its personnel has the appropriate resources and training to carry out the office’s deliverables. This is also in preparation for the office’s automation.

The office invites the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through its Senior Specialists George Lemuel S. Sarao and Antonio L. Distor to conduct the training and provide the ministry with technical skills that enable its employees to apply what they learn in the newly constituted office.

CABB Chief Transportation Regulation Officer/Regional Head Muhammad M. Galo points out the importance of the said training, most importantly that there are newly hired employees.

“It’s necessary to have a training program that helps employees develop baseline computer skills and stay on top of evolving skills needed for new horizons.” He said.
Meanwhile, MOTC Deputy Minister Abunawas L. Maslamama graces and opens the program with a message of support to the undertakings. Also, Bangsamoro Director General Atty. Roslaine L. Macao-Maniri gives a message of inspiration and encourages the participants to apply gained skills from the training at the workplace.
