BTC: Our office welcomes anyone who needs assistance with SIM card registration

The Bangsamoro Telecommunications Commission (BTC), under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), continues to provide Sim Card Registration assistance to Bangsamoro constituents in their office located at DICT Compound (Telecom), 6th Street, Brgy. RH-5, Cotabato City to facilitate compliance with the newly-enacted RA 11934 or Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act.

The assistance will be provided until the end of the registration period. Hence, BTC intends to broaden its scope, and increase its efforts to educate the public about the said Act. Also, its provincial offices in Lanao Del Sur, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi are doing similar efforts.

It is spearheading these efforts in the Bangsamoro Region to make SIM registrations easier in remote areas with limited internet access and technical resources.

The BTC then urged the general public to register their SIM cards to avoid deactivation.
