BMARINA Convenes its Board

The governing Board of the Bangsamoro Maritime Industry Authority (BMARINA) convened and held its very first meeting last February 22, 2023 at the BPMA office in Cotabato City, to discuss and formulate various policies and plans for the development and promotion of the Bangsamoro maritime industry.

Chaired and presided by Minister Paisalin Tago, the Board discussed the following:

1. Approval of the Board’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
2. Launching of the Polloc Freeport and the RORO Route – Cotabato City Port to Lamitan Port and vice versa.
3. Other matters concerning the maritime industry within the region.

BMARINA is the lead agency that is tasked to integrate the development, promotion and regulation of the maritime industry in the BARMM region.
