The first day activity focused on the advocacy of complying with necessary documents as requisites in applying legal franchise. Dir. Datunor Abutazil advised those who intend to operate a Public Utility Vehicle under the region to secure a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC/ Franchise) until March to avoid an unlicensed and unregistered; public transport vehicle operating without a franchise. Other days were devoted to the supervision, inspection, and collection of necessary data.
To ensure work tasks were carried out safely, Dir. Abutazil joined the team as the supervision of Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) was in progress during the operation. It also allowed him to gather data and get first-hand feedback to address the need for a more comprehensive transportation policy in BARMM.
