February 7, 2024 | The Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, and Bangsamoro Airport Authority, Area Manager Carmencita O. Salik, and Cotabato (Awang) Airport Manager Johari L. Musa had a meeting with Regional Director Basir M. Ibrahim Department of Public Works and Highways RO XII, about the ongoing Runway Asphalt Overlay Project of DPWH XII at Cotabato Awang Airport.
The main objective of the said meeting is to discuss the project status and the collaboration efforts between the MOTC, BAA, and DPWH XII.
Minister Tago ensures fast completion through strong collaboration with the implementing agency.
The BAA-CBO coordination efforts to DPWH XII, project contractor, and DOTr adhered to meet the safety requirements of airlines to revise the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to fast-track the project completion granted by CAAP as a strategic initiative through the guidance of Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago.
