October 15, 2024- An ocular visit to Wao Airport was conducted by Minister Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, alongside Engineer V Nasrudin Masakal and Engineer Fahad Magdali of the Bangsamoro Airport Authority (BAA) . This visit aimed to assess the current state of the airport and identify potential areas for improvement and development.
During the visit, the team evaluated existing facilities and discussed plans for upgrades that could promote establishment of the new airport to better serve the residents of Wao and surrounding municipalities. The officials emphasized the importance of infrastructure in fostering economic growth and providing essential services to the community.
By prioritizing the development of Wao Airport, the local government aims to create a more accessible transportation and utilization of the airport that will facilitate trade, tourism, and mobility.
This initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing the region’s infrastructure and ensuring that the people of Wao have access to improved services that contribute to their overall quality of life.
