MOTC-BARMM kickstarts OPLAN BIYAHENG AYOS 2023 at Laguindingan Airport, CDO

In view to partake a sacred experience, Pilgrims from across the Bangsamoro region took opportunities to catch flights in proximity to their places, as in the city of Marawi and the nearby areas of Lanao del Sur, where Laguindingan Airport provides a stance to take off passengers inbound for domestic flight to Manila as the first landing and dropping station before proceeding to Mecca, Saudi Arabia to take the journey on spiritual growth.

It is the first time under the helm of the Interim BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim and Transportation and Communications Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, in collaboration with the Bangsamoro Airport Authority (BAA) and the Civil Aviation Board of the Bangsamoro (CABB), kickstarted Oplan Byaheng Ayos Hajj 2023.

As the season appears to be sweltering heat, the ministry wanted to emphasize that the religious experience from the day of depart is imbued with meaning by showing thoughtfulness, love, and affection through giving of souvenirs and novelty items like round foldable fans, tissues, a bottle of alcohol, face masks and tumblers with logos, as intrinsic to our brothers and sisters pilgrimage and as we also promote our advocacy branding.

On behalf of the ministry, we wish you all a seamless and hassle-free Hajj journey, and may your flight runs smoothly from take-off to touchdown! May barakah (blessings) of Allah (SWT) bring the bliss of heaven to your hearts.
